Andi has nearly 20 years of experience helping companies communicate effectively when it matters most. She advises clients on complex investor relations and strategic communications issues, and coaches executives through media and presentation training. She brings expertise in special situations, including friendly and contested M&A, shareholder activism defense and corporate crises of all types. Her areas of expertise include:

Investor Relations and Financial Communications

Andi works closely with clients to develop IR and financial communications programs to meet their needs on offense and defense. She helps companies reinvent and refine their equity stories and corporate narratives, working with them to convey important information clearly and consistently to key stakeholders. She provides ongoing support to companies including American Airlines, FedEx, Kimberly-Clark, L Catterton, Phillips 66, Solvay, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Ventas. She also oversees the firm’s media and presentation training practice, and has coached nearly 100 executives for media interviews, IR engagements, and corporate presentations.

Transactions

Andi has worked on numerous high-profile M&A transactions, both friendly and contested, including Broadcom in its agreement to acquire VMWare, Kroger in its agreement to acquire Albertsons, Herman Miller in its combination with Knoll, Rothy’s in its transaction with Alpargatas, Hill-Rom in its sale to Baxter, Thermo Fisher Scientific in its acquisition of PPD, DirecTV in its sale to AT&T, and US Airways in its merger with American Airlines. She has also advised on numerous spin-off transactions for companies including Solvay, Exelon, and Sealed Air.

Shareholder Activism/Proxy Fights

She has extensive experience with activism defense and deterrence strategies. Engagements include Kroger (Carl Icahn), Ventas (Land & Buildings), Amarin (Sarissa), Procter & Gamble (Trian), Deckers (Marcato), Lowe’s (D.E. Shaw), Pinnacle Foods (JANA Partners), DuPont (Trian) and Clorox (Carl Icahn).

Crisis Communications

She helps her clients take control through crises of all types, including cyber incidents, management changes, financial restatements, regulatory events, and complex litigation.

Andi has been named as an Emerging Leader by the M&A Advisor, 40 under 40 by NIRI, and one of PR News’ People to Watch. She is an advisory board member of the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance.

Prior to joining Joele Frank in 2006, she worked at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in the Corporate and Investor Relations practice. She received a BA in English from Dartmouth College.
