He also assists clients with ongoing investor relations, corporate communications and crisis management. His areas of expertise include:
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Notable transactions include advising: NextEra Energy on its proposed acquisition of Oncor; First Cash on its merger with Cash America; Progressive Waste Solutions on its acquisition by Waste Connections; Rouse Properties on its acquisition by Brookfield Asset Management; US Airways on its merger with American Airlines; Teva Pharmaceuticals on its offer to acquire Mylan and its subsequent acquisition of Allergan Generics; General Electric on its plan to sell most of its GE Capital assets; and Catterton on its merger with L Capital.
- Shareholder Activism: Shareholder activism and proxy fight experience includes: Air Methods (Voce Capital), FSC (RiverNorth Capital Management), FSFR (Ironsides Partners), Perry Ellis (Legion Partners), Jamba (Engaged Capital), Shutterfly (Marathon Partners), Alere (Coppersmith Capital), Herbalife (Pershing Square) and RealD (Starboard).
